About the Role
We are seeking someone unique to join our team as a Family Violence Specialist Advocate. No two days will ever be the same in this challenging yet incredibly rewarding environment. You will be whānau led, truly embrace the voice of the client, and understand practice from a trauma informed strength-based lens.
You will advocate for, and kōrero with our family/whānau who are experiencing family violence.
We offer paid external supervision with internal practice lead support.
Applicants must have:
NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Full clean NZ driver’s licence
Pass police vetting
Preference given to those with social work or relevant degree, or extensive experience within the field of family harm.
Permanent full-time or potential job share for the right candidate.
